I had my 30th birthday party last night. It was fabulous. Staff helpful. bouncers friendly. cocktails lush. music hit the spot. open till 3am. nice
I returned to Lvpo for my second visit on Saturday night for some birthday drinks and a bite to eat.
The drinks were again fantastic as was the food. All well priced for the selection. I was served very quickly even thought the bartender was quite busy, the bar manager was encouraging the 2 girls on behind the bar which was fun to watch.
I really enjoyed the music and and will definitley be there soon for another late...... night.
Overall it was a great night and that was mainly due to all the staff efforts.
I love love love lvpo!! its soooo cosy and cool inside! there are 2 problems with this place though that ruin it for me... firstly they play decent music some nights and then suddenly turn into house music.?? secondly the manager (tall, skinny, big forehead, i think sth african) is the rudest and creepiest man i've ever met! he has such an attitude, ive watched him with his staff and a couple of customers. i give this place 3 out of 5 stars. get rid of the house music and get rid of the rude manager, and you'd have 5 out of 5 stars from me!
Wow, wow, wow. Was here on Saturday and had a right party. I was meeting friends and had the best night out I have had in years. The music was fantastic and the girls that go to this bar are... just well ... HOT! As for the guys, well me and my mates aren't too bad. Inexpensive drinks, great service and managed to drink in 3 of the bars, the barman said there were more but I didn't have the need to look around.
Get down to this bar.
I reckon LVPO's the best night out round here. Gets busy after 11 so if you don't want to queue for the bar have a few drinks somewhere else first (cheaper too!)
Me and my mates go to LVPO most weekends and it's always a laugh.
LVPO is a fab place. We often come here for a drink or two, but the other day we had some food too and it was very nice. The setting of LVPO is so very stylish too. It is a great place for both eating and a few beers, I think.
Lvpo is a fantastic after work cocktail bar. I can see why it's always very busy, the drinks are reasonably priced and they have a happy hour. Its decor is beautiful, and I especially like the fact that there are so many different rooms. The Lvpo bar staff are also extremely helpful which is always a plus.
Lvpo is normally the kind of place I would go in the winter as it's so cosy, but I went with my boyfriend the other day and it was very special.
The atmosphere is very sophisticated without being obnoxious and it feels very spookily old - in a good way. Like stepping back in time to Eastern Europe. It actually reminded me a lot of Prague. I would recommend a visit to Lvpo - just for the experience.
