I have been enjoying going to Pizza Express for the last 20 years, tonight however, I had a terrible experience. I had booked a party of 17 for my daughter's 11th birthday - 4 adults and 13 children. There were 4 other people in the restaurant - it was 6.30 on a Sunday evening. The children were behaving fine (and I would honestly admit if they weren't). The manager came over 3 times to complain about them. I thought she was unreasonable and didn't pay the service on the bill (over £200). She then said that I was barred from the restaurant.

My daughter went to the toilet on the way out - and she was standing by the door telling us she had told us to leave and were not allowed in the restaurant. When my friend went back into the restaurant she threatened to call the police.

She was so out of order and really spoilt my daughters birthday. Pizza Express at 4 Borough High Street is not recommended.

I wanted to make a song up about Pizza Express and its greatness, but not much rhymes with either Pizza or Express. So I didn’t.

I am an Italian and I have pizza sauce running through by veins. I have an odour of garlic and an olive complexion. What I try to say is I know pizza. Pizza Express isn’t pizza. Pizza Express is dirt, dirty dirt at that, very dirty.
Go to Salvo’s.

Good, but nothing special. Had a pleasant lunch and the staff were friendly
