Screening a series of Glauber Rocha films at Tate Modern, visitors to the gallery can see several of the artists groundbreaking and politically significant works. Having abandoned traditional forms of painting and sculpture, Glauber Rocha went on to make more participatory art forms, with Helio Oiticica appearing in the renowned Cancer in 1968.

Sharing Oiticica's ideals for independence for Brazil and the dismantling of social hierarchies, Rocha's films depict a fiercely awavnt garde style focusing on the countries poltical corruption and social upheaval. Eight titles in all are showing in the season, every Saturday. For information on tickets and timing, visit www.tate.org.uk/modern.
